Summary

The rules about registering charges under section 77 will apply, as far as possible, to a company that buys any property that already has a charge on it, where that charge falls within the meaning given in section 77.

The same rules will also apply, as far as possible, to any change made to the terms, conditions, extent, or operation of a charge that has already been registered under section 77.

Official Text

The provisions of section 77 relating to registration of charges shall, so far as may be, apply to—

(a) a company acquiring any property subject to a charge within the meaning of that section; or

(b) any modification in the terms or conditions or the extent or operation of any charge registered under that section.
