The Central Council exists to give advice on how to promote and protect the rights of consumers as set out in this Act. Its role is limited to providing that advice, and it does not have any other stated functions under this section.

Official Text

The objects of the Central Council shall be to render advice on promotion and protection of the consumers' rights under this Act.
