Summary

Sub-section (1) says that the Central Government will decide how many officers and other employees are needed to help the National Commission do its work. The government will make this decision after consulting with the President of the National Commission.

Sub-section (2) states that all officers and other employees of the National Commission will carry out their duties under the general supervision and control of the President of the National Commission.

Sub-section (3) provides that the salaries, allowances, and other terms and conditions of service for these officers and employees will be set according to rules that are prescribed, meaning they will be determined by formal regulations.

Official Text

(1) The Central Government shall provide, in consultation with the President of the National Commission, such number of officers and other employees to assist the National Commission in the discharge of its functions as it may think fit.

(2) The officers and other employees of the National Commission shall discharge their functions under the general superintendence of the President of the National Commission.

(3) The salaries and allowances payable to, and the other terms and conditions of service of, the officers and other employees of the National Commission shall be such as may be prescribed.
