IPC Section 232 — Counterfeiting Indian coin

Summary
This section makes it a crime to make fake Indian coins or to knowingly take part in any step of the process of making them. A person who does this can be sent to prison for life, or for up to ten years, and can also be ordered to pay a fine.
Official Text
Whoever counterfeits, or knowingly performs any part of the process of counterfeiting Indian coin, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
