Summary

If a person commits mischief, they can be punished with imprisonment for up to three months, or with a fine, or with both. The imprisonment can be either simple or rigorous.

Whoever commits mischief shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both.
