CHAPTER II LICENSING OF DRIVERS OF MOTOR VEHICLES

This licence can be given to a person who has completed eighteen years of age, but only to drive motor vehicles that belong to the Central Government or are under its exclusive control at the time, and that are used for government purposes related to the country's defence and are not connected with any commercial enterprise.

Sub-section (2) states that a driving licence issued under this section must specify the class or description of vehicle the holder is allowed to drive, as well as the period of time for which the holder is allowed to drive that vehicle.

Sub-section (3) clarifies that a driving licence issued under this section does not give the holder the right to drive any motor vehicle other than the ones described in sub-section (1).

Sub-section (4) requires the authority that issues a driving licence under this section to provide information about any person to whom a licence has been issued, whenever a State Government asks for such information.
