Summary

The appropriate Government may, depending on the money and other resources available, take certain steps to spread awareness about this Act.

Under clause (a), it may create information, education, communication, and training materials, and run awareness programmes, to help the public understand the Act's provisions that protect women from sexual harassment at the workplace.

Under clause (b), it may design orientation and training programmes for the members of the Local Committee.

The appropriate Government may, subject to the availability of financial and other resources, —

(a) develop relevant information, education, communication and training materials, and organise awareness programmes, to advance the understanding of the public of the provisions of this Act providing for protection against sexual harassment of woman at workplace;

(b) formulate orientation and training programmes for the members of the Local Committee.
