This section applies when a contract involves specific goods and the seller has an obligation to do something to those goods to make them ready for delivery. In such a case, ownership of the goods does not transfer to the buyer until the seller completes that required action and the buyer is informed that it has been done.

Where there is a contract for the sale of specific goods and the seller is bound to do something to the goods for the purpose of putting them into a deliverable state, the property does not pass until such thing is done and the buyer has notice thereof.
