This section deals with offences committed in an area where the Act has been extended. If an offence against the Act is committed in such an area, then anyone who commits, attempts to commit, or abets the commission of any of the acts that make up that offence will be liable for punishment. This applies whether the commission, attempt, or abetment happens inside or outside that area.

Where any offence against this Act is committed in any area to which it has been extended, whoever, commits, or attempts to commit, or abets the commission of any of the acts making up the offence shall be liable to be punished thereof, whether such commission, attempt or abetment takes place within or outside such area.
