IEA Section 6 — Relevancy of facts forming part of same transaction
Chapter 2
Civil
Summary
Facts that are not directly in dispute in a case can still be considered relevant if they are closely linked to a fact that is in dispute, as part of the same overall event or series of events. This is true even if those facts happened at a different time or place than the main disputed fact.
Official Text
Facts which, though not in issue, are so connected with a fact in issue as to form part of the same transaction, are relevant, whether they occurred at the same time and place or at different times and places.
