Wrongful confinement happens when a person is wrongfully restrained in a way that stops them from moving beyond a specific set of boundaries. This means the person is kept within a certain area and cannot leave it.

Official Text

Whoever wrongfully restrains any person in such a manner as to prevent that person from proceeding beyond certain circumscribing limits, is said “wrongfully to confine” that person.
