Terms of Service

By accessing or using Orjur ("Platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and organisations accessing Orjur services.

Orjur provides AI-assisted legal research tools for Indian law professionals, including:

• Case law search across Supreme Court and High Court judgments
• AI-powered legal query answering via Lex
• Legislative tracking and legal articles
• Citation and document management tools

Orjur is a research tool only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal advice. Always consult a qualified advocate before acting on any information retrieved through Orjur.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You may not share your account with others. Multi-user access requires an appropriate team or Enterprise plan.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Platform
• Use the Platform to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary data
• Use automated tools to make queries beyond your plan's API limits
• Misrepresent Orjur-generated content as independently verified legal advice

All Platform content, UI design, and AI model outputs are owned by or licensed to Orjur. Case law and legislation reproduced on the Platform is public domain sourced from official government repositories.

You retain ownership of documents you upload to the Platform. By uploading, you grant Orjur a limited licence to process them solely for providing the requested service.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Unused query quotas do not roll over. Annual plan cancellations are eligible for a pro-rata refund within 7 days of purchase.

We reserve the right to change pricing or plan query quotas, with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Any discount or rate committed as part of a specific offer (e.g. a founding-member rate) continues to apply for that subscriber for as long as stated in the offer, regardless of later changes to standard pricing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time from Settings → Account.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orjur is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
