Ask Lex Redesign

A refreshed chat experience: a Lex avatar on replies, an animated typing indicator, four suggested starter questions on first open, an auto-growing input box, and properly rendered replies (headings, bold text, and lists instead of raw markdown symbols). Also fixes the page opening pre-scrolled and the cursor not landing in the chat box automatically.

Mobile Navigation Menu

The top navigation now collapses into a proper hamburger menu on smaller screens, instead of wrapping awkwardly next to the logo. Nav links also get real hover feedback for the first time.

Support Portal Links

The Help Center and Contact Us pages now link directly to the support ticketing portal, in addition to the general Contact page.

Find an Advocate — Coming Soon

While the advocate directory is still being built out, this page now explains that profiles are being personally verified before going live, instead of showing a bare "no results" message.

Social Links in Footer

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube added to the site footer, alongside a link to 9th Direction Technologies' own site.

SEO Infrastructure

Added a sitemap index (/sitemap.xml) covering static pages, articles, and law sections, plus robots.txt disallowing gated app routes. Every public page now has a unique meta description, canonical URL, and Open Graph/Twitter card.

Structured Data (JSON-LD)

Schema.org markup added across the site: Organization + WebSite with sitelinks search on the homepage, Article on legal news pages, BreadcrumbList on law sections, and FAQPage on the FAQ — helping search engines understand and richly display Orjur pages.

Public Sitemap Page

A browsable sitemap page, linked from the footer, listing every public page on Orjur organised by category.

Lex — AI Legal Agent

Introduced Lex, Orjur's named AI legal agent. Replaces generic "AI" references across the app. Tagline updated to "Justice, Guided by Lex". Lex greets users on the chat page with a personal intro.

Admin DB Restore

Restore the live database from any local snapshot directly from Admin → Configuration. Each restore auto-saves a pre-restore backup for safety. Upload a .db.gz file from disk to restore from an external backup.

Mobile Sidebar Fix

Sidebar now uses dynamic viewport height (100dvh) ensuring the logout and user block are always visible on mobile browsers. Nav scrolls correctly when content overflows.

Full Orjur Rebrand

All remaining "Verdict" references replaced across frontend, .env, and email templates. Support email updated to support@orjur.com. App name in all outgoing emails now shows Orjur.

Google Translate Integration

Full-page translation widget added to the sidebar (authenticated users) and public header. Supports 12 Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, and Urdu.

Pricing Plans

Five subscription tiers: Trial (free, 20 queries), Basic (₹999/mo, 100 queries), Pro (₹2,499/mo, 500 queries), Premium (₹4,999/mo, 1,500 queries), Enterprise (custom, unlimited). Plan selected at registration with per-plan query limits.

Plan-Based Query Limits

Query limits are now tied to the selected plan and configurable per tier from Admin → Configuration. Existing limits migrated to the new plan structure.

Google & Apple Sign-In

One-click OAuth login and registration via Google and Apple. Accounts are auto-created from provider identity; existing email accounts are linked automatically.

Admin-Managed OAuth Config

Google Client ID and Apple Service ID are stored in the database and configurable from Admin → Configuration. No environment variables or redeployment needed.

Version History Page

This page — a public changelog accessible from the footer, showing features by version with a timeline layout.

Upload PDF, TXT, JPG/PNG documents. Scanned PDFs processed via OCR. Relevant sections injected into analysis using query-guided chunk retrieval.

Conversation Continuity

Follow-up questions continue the case context without re-clarification. Conversation history sent as LLM context on every turn.

Generic Document Generator

Draft any legal or professional document — press releases, MOUs, client briefs — with LLM-inferred field schemas for unrecognised types.

Conversational Follow-up Mode

After an initial analysis, follow-up messages use a dedicated agent that gives practical next steps and ends with questions to keep the conversation going.

Upload Progress Animation

Document Generation (v1)

Initial document drafting for predefined types with a multi-field form. Plain-text delimiter format for reliable LLM output.

Timeout Fixes

Nginx proxy timeout increased to 300s. DeepSeek API call timeout set to 240s. Eliminated 504 errors on long document generation requests.

Multi-Step Legal Reasoning

Full 6-agent pipeline: fact extraction → clarification questions → legal issue building → RAG retrieval → LLM reasoning → citation verification.

Citation Verification

Cases cited by the LLM are cross-checked against the Qdrant retrieval results. Unverified citations are flagged with a warning badge.

Clickable Case Details

Each cited case opens a modal with full metadata: parties, court, date, citation, and text excerpt.

Query Usage Tracking

Per-user monthly query limits with live usage display. Warning banner at 80% usage.

Semantic Case Search
